Aphrodisiac Banana Cake - Vegan & Gluten Free
You know you want that Cake, Cake, Cake, Cake, Cake! đ°đ„
This Vegan Aphrodisiac Banana Cake with Chocolate Avocado Ganache icing topped with His & Her Bar pieces Michael & I made was SO DELICIOUS! (so yummy that it was gone in 2 days just between the two of us!) #SorryNotSorry đ
And the most fun part about making this cake was that Michael agreed to making a recipe blindfolded without even knowing what we were making! (He's such a great sport and deserves the husband of the year award!) I had him blind taste ALL the ingredients - Talk about having a TRUSTING relationship right? I may or may not have had him eat a banana a little dirty LOL đ€Ł I mean I couldn't resist...do you blame me? HAHA!Â

To make this AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS đ & SEXY MOOD BOOSTINGÂ Banana Cake this is what you will need:
For the Sexy Banana Cake:
- 3 BananasÂ
- 1/3 Cup Avocado OilÂ
- 1/2Â Cup SugarÂ
- 1/3 Cup Coconut Milk (or any unsweetened nut milk of your choice)
- 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 Flaxseed eggs (we used 2 tablespoons flaxseed and 3 tbsp water mixed together and let it sit aside ahead of time)
- 2/3 Cup Gluten Free Oat FlourÂ
- 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 tsp. Baking SodaÂ
- 1 tsp. Ground CinnamonÂ
For the Vegan Chocolate Avocado Icing with His & Her Bar ToppingÂ
- 1 and 1/2 Ripe AvocadosÂ
- 1/2 Cup Raw Caco PowderÂ
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Milk (or nut milk of your choice)Â
- 1/4 Cup SugarÂ
- 5 tbsp Almond ButterÂ
- 2 His & Her BarsÂ
First, pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. Next, in one large size mixing bowl mash the bananas and then add in the avocado oil and sugar. Once combined add in the coconut milk. apple cider vinegar, and flaxseed egg and mix.Â
In a separate medium sized bowl mix all the dry ingredients: flour, baking power, baking soda, and cinnamon.Â
Pour the dry ingredients into your wet mixture until fully combined.Â
Coat a baking pan with a thin layer of oil to prevent sticking (we used coconut oil) and pour batter into pan. (we used a 9 inch spring-foam pan but you can use a regular baking pan as well) Place in oven at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Â
In the meantime make your icing by placing the first 5 ingredients (minus the His & Her Bars) into a high speed blender. (we used our Vitamix) Until texture is creamy as pictured below and OH SO DELICIOUS!Â
Once banana cake is done cooking, let cool off for 15 minutes before putting the icing on. Side Note: We chose to place the icing just on top of the cake but feel free to slather it all around the sides for an even more rich taste! Next, cut your His & Her Bars into bite size chunks and place on top of the cake and get ready to get your birthday suit on with your special someone! đ„
